Spend the day exploring the astonishing coastline of the Zingaro Nature Reserve with a local hiking guide. Known for its beautiful scenery of small coves, rocky inlets and turquoise waters, this area is one of Sicily’s most spectacular natural gems. Located approximately an hour from Palermo, you’ll start your walk following some of the well-maintained trails along the coastline with some moderate ascents and descents, manageable even for inexperienced hikers. As well as visiting several rocky coves and the beautiful Grotta di Uzzo, there will be time to stop and enjoy a packed lunch and maybe even a swim at one of the small, pebble beaches before you head back to your hotel.
