After a short transfer with your private driver from Stresa to Arona you can visit Luigi Guffanti’s cheese shop, which has been around since 1876. The outside of the shop is unpretentious but inside there is an array of different cheeses from all over Italy. The tour of the property begins in the basement, where the specialized staff will show you the various types of cheeses stored there, explaining the history of the cheeses, and how they are produced and preserved. After the tour you will return upstairs to enjoy some delicious tastes of delicate and strong cheeses accompanied by a glass of wine before returning to Stresa with your private driver.
