Your private driver will be waiting for you outside your hotel. He will drive you to Lecce where you will meet one of our best English-speaking guides and from where your tour will start in Porta Napoli and lead you to the heart of Lecce’s Baroque, Piazza Duomo, where the Cathedral, the Bell Tower, the Bishopric and the Seminary. Your guided tour will continue through the rest of the city’s gems, which will take your breath away: the Church of Sant ‘Irene, near Sant’ Oronzo Square, where you can see the remains of the Roman Amphitheatre. Then, the Church of Santa Chiara and the Roman Theatre, more relics from Lecce’s rich history. Before heading back to the port, your guide will show you the Basilica of Santa Croce, a jewel of Lecce’s Baroque, and the Celestine Convent. Your private driver will then drive you back to the hotel in full comfort.
